  • Served as a Head, department of economics and management, Faculty of business studies, vavuniya campus, from December 2013 to up to now.
  • Coordinator of internal Quality Assurance unit of Faculty of Business Studies from 1st of December 2012 to 30th December 2013.
  • Served as a member for the selection panel for the interview conducted for the lecturer (Probationary) in Economics and Management and Senior Lecturer- Grade II in Marketing Management,2014-2015.
  • Served as an Editor “Coormai” article, published by Economic Department Faculty of commerce and management, Eastern University Sri Lanka, 2011.
  • Contributed to the Curriculum Committee of the faculty of the business studies at Vavuniya Campus, from 2013 to 2016.
  • Chief Proposal writer of Quality and innovation grant (QIG)under the HETC Project in 2013.
  • Served as a Panel of reviewer for the proceeding of the research conference of the business studies,24th June 2016.
  • Academic carrier guidance advisor for the faculty of business studies from 1st February 2013 to 31st January 2014.
  • Senior treasurer of the faculty of business studies student union in Vavuniya campus for the academic year 2012-2013.
  • Served as a team member of self-review report preparation of common wealth of learning (COL) institutional quality assurance model.
  • Served as a student’s counsellor – Eastern University Sri Lanka for 1 year from 3rd October 2011.
