Mrs. McNutt

Hi! My name is Laura McNutt and I am the library media specialist here at Collins Intermediate. This is my 16th year teaching and year 8 in the library. I love helping students find the perfect book and incorporating fun technology during our weekly library times.  

I graduated from Scottsboro High School in 2005. After graduation, I attended Northeast Alabama Community College and Athens State University where I received a bachelors degree in elementary education. In 2013, I earned my master's degree in library media science from West Alabama University. 

I am married to Jonathan McNutt. He also works for Scottsboro City Schools as a bus driver and PE teacher at Caldwell Elementary. We have two children, John Reed (10) and Ellie (6). My family attends church at First Baptist Church. I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and supporting our Scottsboro Wildcats and the Auburn Tigers! Go Wildcats! War Eagle!
