Reading aloud to your student can be such a great way to help their reading ability. You are the model that your student looks up to as they read themselves. Show them that reading is fun not school work. So the best thing you can do is read, read, read with your student. Here is a video of me reading The Good Egg by Jory John.

Read Aloud Stories

If you do not have time to read a story to your student then let them watch one of their favorite celebrities read it to them. Students love this and it is fun and free.
