Dear Parents and Students,

I'm excited to start my 15th year in teaching and my 9th year here at Mann. A little about me and my family. I am from North Carolina where I did receive my Bachelors degree from North Carolina State University and Minor in Secondary Education. I soon after received my Masters degree in Education from Southern Wesleyan University. I also have 30 hours of Master's credit hours in clinical health counseling which I have gained so much knowledge that I can apply in the classroom and in life in general.  As a family, we love to be involved in our Church, play sports, watch football, hike, eat out, go to concerts, go to the beach,  and watch movies together. I have been married 20 years to my husband Chris. We have 3  boys; Gavin is 16, Jack is 14, and Greg is 11 years old.  I anticipate a great year teaching at J.L Mann and will work hard to make sure your child is successful  in my class.
