About Mrs. Langley

Hello families! My name is Kathleen Langley and I will be your Third Grade teacher at Sterling Elementary / Charles Townes Center! Though I have been working in classrooms for the last two years, this is my first year of teaching! I’m from Greenville originally and grew up in Greenville County Schools. I attended Clemson University where I studied International Business and French. After a year working in business, I returned to school and earned my master’s degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University. I quickly discovered my passion for teaching young students and am so happy to be in 3rd grade!

After I got married last October, I moved down to Murrells Inlet, SC to be with my husband, and finished school while working in 3rd grade in Pawleys Island. My husband, Matthew, and I moved home this summer, and we are so happy to be back in our hometown close to our families!  

I enjoy exercising, going to the lake, spending time with my family and friends, and walking our yellow lab, Tank! I am looking forward to a great school year with you all and can’t wait to get to know you!
