Mrs. Kranz is the PK-8 principal at the Des Lacs - Burlington Elementary School. She has been in education for 25 years. Mrs. Kranz began her career as a K-12 music teacher, spending 21 years in Powers Lake. While in Powers Lake, she also served as principal and the last two years there was the superintendent.

Mrs. Kranz and her husband, Chuck, have six daughters. Education is a part of the Kranz family. Chuck is an assistant principal as well as both of their mothers and two of their daughters being teachers. All of them attended Minot State University.
In her free time, Mrs.Kranz enjoys playing piano, singing, reading, camping, going for walks and spending time with her family.
