As a highly qualified teacher of students with intellectual disabilities, I bring forth twenty-two years of diverse knowledge. This knowledge includes: Interrelated, Resource, Collaborative setting, and the Independent Living Program across grades levels in the middle and high school setting. I have had multiple opportunities to guide, support, and mentor student teachers and new teachers professionally, as well as paraprofessionals. Being a positive influence in the lives of students, parents, and colleagues has enabled me to be a more productive educator. My goal is to help my students prepare to become independently functioning adults and strive to reach their personal goals in life and to become productive citizens.
