"In a world where you can be anything....be KIND!"
About me...
It's important for me to respect and to understand everyone's individual perspective. I truly believe our personal experiences mold us and shape us to how we view the world. Effective communication between home and school will help me to achieve this; it will not only enhance my understanding about your family, but it will help me learn how to maximize students' success and growth in the classroom. It's going to be an amazing year and I know we can get through these uncertain times together.
Facts about me:
I absolutely LOVE my job and Salk!!!
I was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on an Air Force Base.
My family is extremely important to me.
I played basketball in college.
My family loves our vacations, especially at the beach!
Growing up was not easy for me because I faced many hardships at a young age: I moved frequently because I was part of a military family, I lost my father to cancer at the age of 13, my family received help from our school community often, I struggled with self-confidence, I lost my younger sister at birth, and although I did well in school - it never came easily and I had to work really hard.
Despite my hardships, I would not change a single thing in my life. These challenges made me the person I am today; however, I could have been nicer to my Mom. I did not understand her perspective until now.
I absolutely LOVE my job and Salk!!! LOL...Did I say that already??? (8 is our family's favorite number so I'll stop here)
