What are the classroom rules? Classroom rules are listed under the AUP located on the classroom website.
How will I know my child’s grade? You will be able to view your child’s grade on Dojo. Grades will only be available to those with a login.

IMPORTANT: Emails sent during the school day will be answered on the same day. If emails are sent after 5:00 pm they will be answered the next school day.
How can I view the schools lunch Menu? The lunch menu will be posted on my classroom website and will be updated monthly.
If my child misses a school day, where can I find their homework? You can visit my classroom website and go to the student tab – there is a link to all the homework. This will be updated weekly.
Does my child have to have access to the internet? All assignments that require the internet will be done in class. I understand not every student has access to internet at home.
How do I contact the school? Follow the school link on my classroom website – the phone number to the school office is provided. The school’s contact information can also be found on the school’s official website.
What if my student needs to ride the bus home with somebody else? Arrangements for students to ride a different bus home need to be made prior to the school day. In the event of an emergency, the parent will need to call the school and the student will get a note to give to the bus driver that afternoon.
What if somebody who is not on my child's checkout list needs to pick them up? The school will need to be notified first thing in the morning, the student will need to bring a signed note to the school and the parent will have to have made contact with the school. In the event of an emergency parents will need to contact the school.
How does my child sign up for clubs and extra curricular activities? On my website under the school tab, the forms for offered extra curriculars and clubs will be available. Parents will be responsible for printing and filling out the forms and returning them at the correct time to the student's teacher.
Can parents view your lesson plans? Yes, my lesson plans are under the teacher tab, then under lesson plans. The majority of my lesson plans will be uploaded to my website for parent's viewing. This will allow you to see what your students are doing each day.
If my child is struggling in the classroom, how can I help them? If you feel as if your child is struggling, please contact me or the principle and we can make arrangements for a meeting. We will do everything in our power to aid your child in learning the best and most effective way to meet their needs.
Where can I find websites for my child to get extra practice for certain content areas? Under the student page, there are subpages of each content area, once you enter those pages you will find a variety of websites that you can access that will provide ample practice for your student. All of these can be accessed by a laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet.
How does my child check out books from school? Each student is provided will a four digit pin number that will allow them to check out books from the school library. I also have a classroom library located in my room where the students are able to sign books in and out. All books have to be returned in a timely manner or they can be rechecked out. All books must be returned to my classroom library or the school's library my the 3rd week in April.
Where can I find the school supply list? School supplies lists will be available 1 month before school starts, they will be located at local grocery stores, the school office, or here on my website. If your chilld needs assisstance getting supplies, please contact myself or the school office and we will make it a priorty to ensure your child has all they need in order to be successful throughout the school year.
