Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.
Direct Plagiarism: adopting parts from another writing or writer without proper mention of the source.
Mosaic Plagiarism: Unintentional, may have mentioned the source but did not mark it correctly in the text.
Self-Plagiarism: where students copy and paste part of their previous submission for another class or assignment,
Accidental Plagiarism: When the plagiarist misquotes the phrases or parts of the text he/she has taken from a source or does not site the source adequately.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated and any type of plagiarism will result in punishment.
