Draw the state you currently live in. Google, use a map, or ask an adult to help you locate the county that you are in. Draw the county or use a symbol to indicate where it is in the state. I then want you to tell a short story. It can be about anything, real or fiction. Be creative!
Go over the state and capitols worksheets that we went over today. Choose fives states and capitols to study and remember. You should be able to cite the five states to me on Monday. This will be worth 5 bonus points.

Think of a road trip that you have taken or want to take.
Write down all of the states that you would have traveled through to get to your destination.
Write down at least one that the states are known for. Example: Florida is known as the sunshine state or for their oranges, Georgia is known for their peaches, etc.
You may use any resource necessary to complete the assignment such as the internet, an adult, or your book.
