Dear 4th Grade Parents and Students,
Dear 4th Grade Parents and Students,
Welcome to Northeast Elementary! My name is Cheriden Hawk and this will be my second year teaching fourth grade at Northeast. I grew up in Yukon, OK just outside of Oklahoma City. I attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and majored in Elementary Education. My husband, Mr. Hawk, and I met in high school and have been married for five years. We moved to the Denver area last summer to be closer to the mountains and we are loving it!

I am so excited to be your fourth grade teacher this year! I am eager to meet you and work with you and your family throughout the year. I cannot wait to learn and grow right along with you. One thing I am excited to bond over is an enjoyment for the outdoors. A few things I am excited about doing this year with you are: book clubs, growth mindset, math, and PBL of course! I can’t wait to introduce you to some amazing books! In the meantime, I will be taking in so many things Denver has to offer, especially camping and hiking. I hope to have some awesome stories when school starts!
