Course Description: Strategies designed to address the diverse learning needs and modifications of students. Reading, writing, and vocabulary are emphasized daily for all students. Daily "Dear Time" (Drop Everything and Read) will be necessary for student progress. Individual learning needs will be supported, as well as testing accommodations, and social skills.

Course Policies: This course will adhere to all student, school, and county policies. Individual class rules will be discussed per teacher/class.

Instructional Delivery: We will meet on Google Meets for live instruction. Students will have assignments to practice skills learned during live online instruction. Parents who wish to meet with me, will schedule a Zoom meeting during office hours.

Required Materials: Students are responsible daily for notebook paper if needed, and pens or pencils. There is no required text for the course.

Grading: Students grades are determined by the teachers designated in their IEP. FWISD has announced that grades WILL NOT be pass or fail. Students will be given a numerical grade based on performance.

Make-Up Work: Make-up work will be given according to FWISD policy provided in the student handbook.
