Welcome to our classroom! I hope you all had a fabulous summer break and are as excited to return to school as I am.

My name is Mrs Juli Cianciullo (but most of the students at Edgewood call me Mrs. C.) and I love being a part of the 7th and 8th grade team as the English/Language Arts teacher, I cannot wait to spend the 2021-2022 school year with you, sharing my love of reading, learning and literature!

About Me:

I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1999. In 2009, I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.. In 1999, I began working at North End Middle School in Waterbury. There, I taught grades 6, 7, and 8. I also designed and piloted a Connecticut Mastery Test class. In 2005, I left Waterbury to teach high school in Trumbull. There, I taught grades 11 and 12. I specialized in the teaching of writing and American literature. After I had my daughter, I spent several years at home with her. I worked part time for two years at Flood Middle School in Stratford, tutoring Reading.

I am a Milford resident, and have lived there almost all of my life. I live with my husband, ten year old daughter, Maria, and three dogs. In addition to playing with and walking our dogs, we love to read books, especially the Harry Potter series, do puzzles, cook, and bake.

The novels we are starting with are amazing and I can’t wait to read them with all of you! I am sure that you will LOVE them and that you will have an incredible learning experience as we begin our journey together.

I have high expectations for myself and for all of you. In doing so, we can and will create a spectacular environment for all of us to not only grow, but also thrive.

Once again, I am very excited to be working with you and can’t wait to share this upcoming year with you.
