Check Your Understanding Options

Students are given suggested practice to check their own understanding of the current concepts.  Practice problems are leveled based on the level of skills required to solve them.  Mild questions are considered the bare-minimum and only require the most basic level of skills for the concepts.  Spicy questions are the most challenging since students will need all of the skills for the concept.  Spicy questions will prepare students the most for assessments.

Check Your Understanding (CYU) options should also be written in students' planners for the week they were presented to them.  Students are expected to color-code the level they chose (green=mild, yellow=medium, and red=spicy).  Of course, they may choose to do more than suggested.

Solutions for each CYU will be posted 1-3 days later.  Check the class calendar for their class period to see the options and when solutions are ready.  CYU Solutions can be found under the unit's resources (from the Unit Resources page).
