Mrs. Jamie Caruana

I’m so excited to be your teacher this year!  We are going to do so many FUN things!  It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries.  

I grew up in Wayne and currently reside in Cedar Grove. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Montclair State University in 2003 and went on to receive my Master's degree in reading from William Paterson University. 

This is my 21st year teaching 1st grade at Oradell Public School.  It’s the best grade to teach!  We get to learn about reading, addition and subtraction, the sky and nature and so much more! In addition, we become more independent in our abilities.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Vinnie.  We have two sons. Dylan, who will be in 5th grade, and Luciano, who will be in 2nd grade. I enjoy spending my time watching them play flag football, basketball and baseball!
