Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
I began teaching at St. Mary in 1994. After two years of developing an Enrichment Program at St. Mary, I began the Technology Program in 1996 alongside some dedicated St. Mary parents. My teaching experience includes 3-year-olds through Grade 8. This is my fourth year of teaching English 7 at St. Mary. I previously taught seventh and eighth-grade ELA in Indianapolis. While working on my M. ED., many of the courses I took focused on middle school ELA. I currently hold a K-8 license (B.S. from Miami University), an M.Ed. from Xavier University along with 18 graduate hours in Curriculum and Instruction from UC, and a K-12 Technology and Computer Leadership license from The Ohio State University. I love children, teaching, and learning, and I receive joy every day from the things students say and do. I enjoy almost anything outside, cooking, and spending time with my grandchildren. When I am not working on St. Mary things, I am usually engaged with my five, girl grandchildren. GIRL POWER!!!
I believe children should learn something new every day in my classes, and I believe children should be treated the way I would like others to treat my children.
Please feel free to contact me at abuehler@stmaryhp.org for any questions or concerns. I am always happy to help! I look forward to seeing everyone and having the best year ever! Let's make it great! We are Children of God.
