Class Rules and Policies

Academic Expectations

• Work is turned in on time

• Apply full effort- TRY!

• Have all materials (notebook, pen/pencil, charged laptop)

• Be responsible for your own learning- when you are out, complete the work within 24 hours of returning.

• Sign up for extra help if you need it.

• Arrive on time

• One person speaks at a time

• Participate often

• Respect self, time, and others

• Avoid phones/TV/games & other distractions during class

• Raise your hand to speak

• One person speaks at a time

• Keep your words appropriate for school

• Be careful with school property and technology

Grading Policy:

In order to be successful in class, students must participate often and turn all work in on time. Grades will be calculated according to the district policy:

• Quizzes/tests/projects/writing assignments: 60%

• Classwork/Participation: 35%

• Homework: 5%
