I started this company after giving different professions a try, and nothing felt fulfilling. I have worked in healthcare, childcare, and large corporations; nothing felt right. From a young age, I have always loved baking and cooking. 

Baking and cooking has always been there for me, and now I want to return the favor. I want to bring the joy of beautiful bakery, the creativity of DIY kits, and the ease of entertaining to a broader audience; YOU! I initially started an Instagram for my cooking, I found that while I love cooking for my family, I would like to cook for others and bring the love of being in the kitchen to everyone.

I am a Baker by name, as my married last name is Baker! Fitting, huh? 😂

I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. In Cleveland, I attended my primary schooling. I also earned my college degree in Health Information Management from a local college; my husband earned his BS in Cleveland also. After completion of my degree, I went on the get nationally certified as a Registered Health Information Technician. 

My husband and I moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area in 2020. During that time, I worked at Grady Memorial Hospital in the medical records department. In December of 2021, my husband and I bought a home in Hiram, Georgia. I started working at the Paulding location of Wellstar Health System. In late 2022, I decided to discover another avenue of work, childcare. I was a Lead Teacher at a Goddard franchise in the area. While I loved working with kids, I still wasn't completely satisfied at the end of the day. I took a short leave from that position, and starting having fun in the kitchen. While I was on break, I remembered how much I loved being in the kitchen. Along came Mrs.Baker's Kitchen!
