About Me

Hi! I'm Amy Borge, though most students know me as Mrs. B, and I love Jesus! 

From a young age, the Lord placed a desire in me to teach and train others. I fell in love with teaching while working at an after-school program during college, an experience that catapulted me into a lifelong commitment to education. 

I hold a bachelor’s degree in education with an ESOL endorsement from Florida Atlantic University and have served as an educator in Palm Beach County since 2002, working in public and private schools, as well as various homeschool co-ops.

I am deeply committed to literacy, as I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn to read. I am a strong proponent of phonics-based instruction, a method that has proven highly successful with my students. My goal is to build positive relationships and foster an engaging environment that motivates students to excel.

In 2026, I officially graduated my youngest child from our homeschool program. As a mother of three adult children, this marks a significant milestone for our family.

Reflecting on this journey, homeschooling has provided my children with an education that extends far beyond textbooks. The unique experiences and opportunities they encountered have prepared them for what lies ahead.
