About Me

My name is Reginald Brock, Sr and I will be your teacher this school year. This is my 31st year of teaching at CPS. I began my career at Bennett Elementary School and for the past 21 years, I have taught at Simeon. Over the years, I have taught the following subjects (Civics, Economics, African-American Studies, Human Geography, and U.S. History). Aside from teaching, I have also coached baseball at Simeon (10 years), served as the school’s athletic director (10 years), served on the LSC, and was the director of an after-school tutoring program entitled SES. In addition to working at Simeon, I am a Simeon alum, and I am also proud to announce that ALL three of my kids are SCA alumni as well (class of 2004, 2013, and 2017). I am totally honored to say I have been a part of the Wolverine family for a very long time and I look forward to working with you this school year…..Let’s Go Wolverines!!!
