Here’s a brief introduction to your media specialist:

• I was born and raised on a small Angus farm in West Plains, MO, which is pretty much right on the Arkansas border.

• I received my B.A. in English from Westminster College in Fulton, MO in 2009.

• I earned my M.L.S. (Master’s in Library Science) from the University of Missouri in 2011.

Other things you may or may not find interesting about me:

• I play in a local indie new wave band.

• I think of myself as an amateur paleontologist. Ask me where you can find fossils on our Benton school grounds!

• I read all the time. My favorite authors include Cormac McCarthy, Vladimir Nabokov, George Saunders, and David Foster Wallace.
