April 24th - Landscape - Draw and color the greens of Spring.

March 6th - Color Mixing - Explore the fun of putting colors together.

March 13th - Push and Pull - Make your colors jump off the page by using fun visual effects.

March 20th - Painting Atmosphere - Want to know why the hills in the distance look blue/grey?

March 27th - Where is Brown on the Color Wheel? - Come explore why Brown is not a true color on the color wheel.

5 Wednesday Classes

March 10th - Symmetrical - Make a symmetrical drawing by folding paper technique. Explaining Symmetry: See pdf. file to the left.

March 17th - Portrait - Draw a portrait with one continuous line.

March 24th - Tessellation - Line drawing meets puzzles & geometry.

March 31st - Perspective - Find your eye level and build a world around it.

Feb. 6th - Nian Monster - Kinetic drawing of the Chinese monster that created the Chinese New Year legend

Feb. 13th - Love, Handing Over My Heart - Assembled drawing of your hand an a Valentines Day Heart with bright colors

Feb. 20th - Ox Drawing and Lantern Making - Make a drawing of an Ox and build a lantern to celebrate the final days of the Spring Festival.

Feb. 27th - Paper Sculpture - Explore 3D shapes from folding and cutting paper.

4 Wednesday Classes

Feb. 3th - Year of the Ox - Ox paper cutting & Ox Sculpture. Templates will be sent for printing. Scissor skill level is for 5-8 years old.

Feb. 10th - Ox mask & Ox character drawing - Ox mask template will be sent for printing. Scissor skill level is for 5-8 years old.

Feb. 17th - Ming Vase - With white paper, blue paint and a vegetable for stamping, we will recreate a floral vase that refers to the master crafts of the Ming Dynasty ceramics.

Feb. 24th - Build a Castle - Design your own castle. We will look at different types of castles around the world and you will create your own that is unique to you.

4 Saturday Classes

Jan. 9th - Draw Your 3D Room - With one sheet of paper you can create your own room in three dimensions. We will combine drawing and folding skills.

Jan. 16th - Color Splash - Learn painting techniques, colorful designs and Abstract Art by studying the art of Lee Krasner and Helen Frankenthaler.

Jan. 23rd - At the Table - Drawing fun Characters of your family enjoying your favorite meal.

Jan. 30th - Winter Landscape - Paint the beautiful orange, violet and blue colors of a winter sunset.
