Welcome to Flagstone Elementary School Music!

I am super excited to be apart of the Flagstone Elementary staff as well as the Castle Rock area!  Originally I'm from New York where I got my Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance from SUNY Potsdam, and where I taught for the first two years of my career in several different elementary schools.  Other than being the General Music teacher I also offer other programs outside school hours such as Choir, Band and Orchestra!

Since I've moved to Castle Rock in July of 2022 I've received nothing but help and kindness in an area that is abundantly beautiful.  Please contact me with any questions you have!  smirandi@dcsdk12.org
