Hello!

This will be my eighth year teaching! I grew up in Boulder, Colorado on an 80 acre farm. My fondest memories are playing outside for hours on end and coming home covered in dirt! I moved to California over 10 years ago for the amazing people and weather. I worked in the entertainment industry (my final job was on Power Rangers) right out of college before pursuing my true calling and going back to school to become a teacher. I come from a family of all kinds of teachers. My dad teaches at various colleges in Colorado and my brother teaches snowboarding in Aspen, Colorado. I am thankful to be a teacher each day when I step on our campus. I consider myself a lifelong learner and value the impact that education can have in life. My goal is to inspire this outlook with my students.

I love to travel, workout, work on DIY projects, and learn new things. I currently live in Vista, California with my husband, 8th-grade son, dog, and cat. We are excited to be growing our family this year via surrogate.
