About Me

About Me

I was born and raised in Kingsport Tennessee. I have a gorgeous wife named Laura and two sweet boys, Kenny (4) and Judah (3). I love the mountains, coffee, and almost any kind of book. There is nothing like a morning cup of joe. My favorite free time activity is reading history books or watching documentaries. My favorite season is fall, mainly because of football (GO VOLS). I am a Tennessee Volunteer fan and bleed orange.

Teaching Philosophy

My main passion in life is education. I strive to make sure that every student who enters my class has the opportunity to learn. They have a right to have a teacher who works to do everything they can to make sure students leave the classroom better students then they came in. Social Studies, although underrated, is vital for students. It helps develop students into better citizens and can help develop critical reading and thinking skills.
