COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
This course will broaden students’ understanding of computer science as it relates to programming techniques and the effect of technology on society. Students will understand and apply essential design and problem solving skills as related to computer programs and become familiar with computer hardware, software and networking. Students will also become aware of educational and career opportunities in computer science related fields and develop an understanding of computer use related to ethics and its impact on the community.
