Interdisciplinary researcher with a driven focus on disaster science, energy transitions, and traffic flow theory
My long-term goal is to establish an integrated education and research program focused on the adoption of fundamental engineering and science principles likely to dictate the spatiotemporal patterns of emergent human behavior dynamics at both disaggregate and aggregate scales as well as resilience pattern in response to perturbation in infrastructure network due to climate change, mostly focusing on (1) natural disaster; (2) energy transitions; and (3) connected and autonomous technology. To capture such complexity, I have resorted to adopt an interdisciplinary approach which intersects at knowledge domains of Transportation Engineering, Network Science, and Social Studies.
