In this video I showed a product I bought, the different types of packaging it had, where you could buy it, the type of product category it was in, the specs it had, how to get support for the product and even who are the type of people buying it. I learned that not all products are made equal and the way a product is designed and even the price point are all factors that come into play when marketing an item to it's target audience.
In this Canva Target market display I created a detailed persona based on real data collected through survey analysis for a smart recycling sorting trash can. This project helped me understand the importance of understanding data and how to tell a story with information to curate a real understand of how to reach my target audience.
In this paper I wrote about my experience going to two different stores looking for the same product. the focus was price and place, so I explained where I found the product in each store, the differences in price and the overall experience in each store. What I learned was price and place really matter and very well can be the difference between a purchase or not.
