Hi... I am Dr. Mrinal Sen 

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. I started my teaching carrier in 2003 and my pride being a teacher is still continuing. Appart from that I am also a researcher, who is focusing on the research in Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) with objective of developing integrable photonic devices, especially silicon-based devices for high-performance computation. My research also extends to the development of Lab-on-Chip photonic sensors. Yet, my research works have been published in 40+ reputed international journals and 24+ international conferences. In addition I have successfully executed two research projects as PI and two as Co-PI, funded by organizations like, DRDO, DST etc. I have procured sophisticated high valued equipment like E-beam Lithography, RIE  and developed a photonic integrated circuit laboratory. Some of my key research contributions are on LED pumped Raman laser, Raman mediated ultrafast all-optical integrable NOR gate, On-chip, ultra-high Q-factor and ultra-sensitive refractive index sensor.
