I am broadly interested in Theoretical Computer Science. My main areas of research are cryptography and network security. In particular, I am interested in Hybrid Quantum-Classical Encryption, Multivariate Public-Key Cryptosystems, Broadcast Encryption, Attribute-based Encryption Functional Encryption, Cloud Computing, and Internet-of-Things (IoT).
Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Cryptology and Security Research Unit (CSRU), R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata, 203 Barrackpore Trunk Road, Kolkata 700 108, India. Before that, I was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, NH 65 Nagaur Road, Karwar 342037, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, 70, Lienhai Road, Kaohsiung 80424, Taiwan. I was also a Researcher with a Doctoral Degree position at the Institute of Mathematics for Industry (IMI), Kyushu University, Japan. I have worked as a Visiting Scientist at the R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B. T. Road, Kolkata 700 108, West Bengal, India. I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Takagi-Nuida Laboratory, Department of Mathematical Informatics, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, Japan. I have completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Ratna Dutta at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. I have received my M.Sc. from the Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Calcutta, where I was advised by Prof. Avishek Adhikari. I got my bachelor's in Mathematics from the Barasat Govt. College, University of Calcutta.
