I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Associate at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, USA. I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Academic Unit, Instituto de Investigaciones en Matemáticas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mérida, Yucatán, México. I have obtained my Masters and PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India. I have also worked as a IIT-K Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, UP, India. My research areas of interest are: Metamaterial, Acoustic Vibration, Microcontinuum mechanics, Wave propagation, Asymptotic Homogenization and Smart Structures.
