EDTC 6320-COOPERATIVE PROJECT

Project Description: This project develops an instructional solution that will provide prospective students and employers with a clear understanding of Educational Technology and the associated benefits of an Educational Technologist. Working as a team we collaboratively created a client proposal and a multimedia presentation to accomplish this task. The instructional solution elaborates on important aspects the client feels most relevant to Educational Technology. The development of this website was to contain both parts of the project.

EDTC 6321-INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROJECT

Project Description: In this instructional unit math teachers at Steubenville Middle/High School are able to demonstrate their ability to download the EquatIO software and create problems in Google Docs, Slides, and Forms. EquatIO is a Google Chrome Extension that allows students and teachers to create equations, formulas, and more, digitally. Helping to make math and STEM classes more accessible and engaging for every student. This training will help to prepare teachers to integrate EquatIO into their classrooms next year.

EDTC 6323-INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA OBJECT

Project Description: Taking the instructional unit that was created in EDTC 6321. I created a reusable multimedia object on EquatIO. The site contains a small lesson to learn about EquatIO Mathspace along with an assessment. This can be done by teachers or students. All you need is a Chrome Browser with the EquatIO extension.

EDTC 6325-E-Learning Module

Project Description: Clever is a single sign on (SSO) program designed for K-12 schools. After completing this training, teachers will understand Clever better, create pages, and communicate with others. There are step-by-step instructions, videos, and multiple opportunities for the learner to practice and ask questions to assist them with learning the program. Using Clever will save the teachers instructional time and increase student performance.

EDTC 6332-Practicum Project

Project Description: This e-learning module is centered around ProgressBook. ProgressBook is a student information system (SIS). The software manages many areas, including student enrollment, contact information, medical information, fees, discipline, attendance, test results, course scheduling, transcripts, report cards, and other features. This training module was created in Google Sites and is the first opportunity most teachers have had to receive training on the system, even though it has been used for the past 20 years. Throughout this training, the learners are able to follow along and practice what they are learning through various interactive components.
