“Who are you?” said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation.
~Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll

Alice replied, rather shyly, “I—I hardly know, Sir, just at present—at least I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”

A Not-Encouraging Opening:

M. Regan has been writing in various capacities for over a decade, with credits ranging from localization work to audio scripts, advice columns to short stories. In addition to pieces in over a dozen anthologies, their debut novella, "21 Grams," was published by Timber Ghost Press in July, 2021. Adaptions of their work have featured on WatchMojo's YouTube channel, as well as on podcasts like "Tales to Terrify," "Shadows at the Door," and "Strange Horizons."

Particularly fascinated by those fears and maladies personified by monsters, M. Regan enjoys composing dark fiction, studying supernatural creatures, and traveling to places with rich histories of folklore. Other than that, they're really quite boring. Oh, and absolute trash at keeping a relevant presence on social media. Honestly, if you've bothered reading their bio to this point, they are very impressed. But between us, they'd much prefer you spend your time reading their stories. The stories are more interesting than this rambling. Promise.
