MR. DORAN

James Doran was born and raised in Central Arkansas. He lived in North Little Rock, Little Rock, Benton, and Bryant for most of his life. He graduated from Benton High School in 2004. He attended Ouachita Baptist University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies in 2008. James worked in full time youth ministry and private Christian education until 2013, when he decided to teach full-time in the public school system. He completed his Master's in Secondary Education in 2016 and his Master's in American History in 2020. He has experience teaching at the High School level as well as adjuncting for College-Level courses.

James is married to Holland, has an adult daughter named Lindsy, and two dogs that he did not want. Now he loves them.

James Doran has an Arkansas Teaching License and five CollegeBoard certifications:
