Students of all ages should be reading each night for at least 20-30 minutes. This is not included in their practice, but an expectation.

Once a week, students will be asked to write or record a discussion post on Schoology. Students will be asked to summarize or respond to a question using a book they have been reading recently.

Math homework will range from Math fact practice online or using cards to a few problems to apply the skills studies in class earlier that day or week.

Students can tie assignments back to the lesson from the morning. Students should be maintaining notes to refer to when needed, typically in their Interactive Math Notebooks.
