Hello Parents and welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year! I am so excited to get a chance to know all the students and parents and help students be successful in the really important 7th Grade year for Civics. Please read the syllabus attached to the beginning of the year packet and make sure to sign and return to your homeroom teacher.

7th Grade is a really important year for Social Studies because students must pass the state issued Civics EOC at the end of the year that is 30% of their grade for the ENTIRE year. Civics is also a High School Requirement and any students that does not pass will NOT be let into High School. So it is really important that students work really hard and pass the test at the end of the year!

7th Grade is also a really exciting year for Civics because we will be returning to Washington D.C. in May! Please look out for details and you can check out the Washington DC tab above for more exciting information!
