Professional Water Jet Cutting Company in Bayswater VIC & Beyond

With 17 years in business our focus has and always will be on our customers, your products, and your deadlines. MRC expanded from Performance into Waterjet Cutting in 2017 after we noticed a gap in the market when it came to great service and fast turnaround times in the CNC cutting industry. Rather than just being there to cut and deliver, we love being able to work with our clients to produce the highest quality projects without wasting your precious time. The average order turnaround is just 2-5 days and if you can’t pop in to pick up your order personally we’ll ship it anywhere in Australia.

Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs are a hub for manufacturing and we’ve been privileged to work with many businesses and business owners who are thinking outside the box when it comes to the products they want to create and cut.

Our mission is to continue growing a modern waterjet cutting service that is ready to work with the changing demands of our clients. We employ a young but experienced workforce who are always bringing fresh knowledge and ideas to our business to make sure we can continue adapting with changes in technology. At our factory in Bayswater you’ll notice that we use up-to-date equipment for all our cutting, as well as modern software such as our online system that allows us to track the progress of all our quotes and jobs, to make sure you always get your project delivered on time.

At MRC Waterjet Cutting, we’re also committed to becoming more environmentally friendly in all of our processes, including recycling, power consumption and water usage.

What materials can you cut?

We can cut nearly any material up to 100mm thick. Waterjet cutting services are particularly useful for cutting heat-sensitive materials that are difficult to cut with other machines. Materials like carbon fibre, composites, thick aluminium, titanium, tool steels, ceramic, foams, rubber, copper, silver and even gold can all be cut with our machines.

What file/extension type should I send with my design?

.DXF files are ideal design types as they require little extra input from us. However, we can work with samples or dimensioned drawings to get you the design that you want. We can also take a template or drawing and convert it to a ready-to-cut CAD drawing for you.

Do you supply the material or can I?

This is completely up to you! If you have already sourced a beautiful material for your project then we can cut this for you. Alternatively, as we can also use our extensive knowledge and supplier base to source and supply the type of material you want cut.

What should I include in an order or enquiry?

If you’re getting in touch with a specific order or product in mind, then we can give you more details about the process and a more accurate quote based on how much information you provide.

Consider including the following for the most accurate response:

Email .DXF or other dimensional file

The specific material you want cut, including thickness

Whether you are supplying the material or would like us to quote on this

Whether you will be picking up your project or whether you need it shipped

Alternatively, if you’re not sure exactly what you want and need more advice from us then please don’t hesitate to get in touch just to make a general enquiry.

What will happen after I’ve received a quote?

Once you’ve made your order or enquiry, we’ll send you a response detailing the waterjet cutting costs, material costs (where required), and time frame to order completion. Your order will be processed and cut once payment is made and you’ll be able to organize pickup or delivery.
