I grew up and have lived in the West Geauga area most of my life. My wife, Sarah, also attended various West Geauga schools. We currently live in Russell and have 2 sons, Drake and Kole. I have a bachelor's degree in History (2000) and a master's degree in Education (2004). I taught for 2 years at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights (2000-2002) before coming to West Geauga in 2007. I also spent a short time as a Senior Account Executive with United Parcel Service (2005-2007). I am currently teaching five different classes, including American History, Globalization, World Cultures, Sociology, and AP Human Geography. I began coaching soccer at West Geauga in 2000 and spent 7 years as an assistant with the boys and girls teams before I took over as head coach of the varsity girls team for 3 seasons, from 2009-2011. I have continued to coach with both the varsity girls and boys teams as an assistant. I also serve as the Board President of the local travel soccer program (WG Soccer Club), a 501c3 non-profit that I have been involved with for over 25 years. My general interests are in the outdoors. In the summer, I am an avid mountain biker and I hit the slopes in the winter. My wife and I are quite proud to be living, working, and raising a family in our hometown.
