About the Teacher

Welcome!

My name is Dillon Brantley, and I have been teaching at Cosumnes Oaks High School since I began teaching in 2017. Currently, I teach AP Biology, Biology, and Physics. I am credentialed to teach biology, physics, and chemistry.

I earned my bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After graduating, I attended UC Davis for my teaching credential and master's degree in education.

I have a passion for all things science, yet I am most often remembered for my particular affinity for birds. The real aim of my teaching is to foster scientific literacy and appreciation in my students so that they will be knowledgeable and capable of analyzing real-world problems regardless of the field in which they pursue their careers. As a result, I am dedicated to providing a quality, rigorous education for all of my students.
