Short Bio:
Over 8 years of research experience in the field of chemical engineering, specialization in conversion of biomass to value-added chemicals and fuels, synthesis of hierarchical/functionalized zeolites, and photocatalysis. I also have teaching assistant experience in process intensification and integration, fluid mechanics lab and analytical lab. I have mentored 3 B.Tech, 6 M.Tech students and 7 interns on several projects during my PhD. A Project grant of ₹40000/- was received from VGST, Govt. of Karnataka, for my M.Tech project. My research interest includes biomass conversion to value added chemicals such as 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural, Levulinic acid and fuels, utilization of CO2 production of methanol and DME, design of novel functionalized catalysts, photocatalysis, pyrolysis and its kinetics, study of humins, design of continuous flow microreactors, estimation of techno-economics.
I published 11 (Eleven) peer reviewed research articles in reputed international journals with over 185+ total citations. 1 Indian patent was granted in 2022 and other was filed for production of levulinic acid. I completed M.Tech from Manipal University, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG). Postdoctoral studies at at JNCASR, Bangalore from March 2022. Currently, working as Research Associate at Hindustan Petroleum Green R&D Center, Bangalore.

Joined HPCL as Research Associate in FCC Division on 16th Jan 2023.
My last chapter of the PhD thesis got published in "Green Chemistry" an RSC Journal. Its my 10th paper.
Joined JNCASR, Bangalore as post Doctoral Research Associate under Prof. Sebastain C Peter on 4th March 2022. Currently working on scale up of CO2 to methanol at 500kg/day.
Successfully finished Ph.D 😀 (a 5 years journey: 01-01-2017 to 28-12-2021)
Ph.D thesis viva voce is scheduled on 28th December 2021 9:00 Am (IST)
Submitted my PhD thesis titled "Biomass to Specialty Chemicals: Advanced Catalysts, Processes and Techno-Economics " on 29th July 2021.
Successfully presented synopsis seminar on 18th June 2021.
My 4th paper from Ph.D. work published in Advanced Powder Technology (IF:4.833) and counted as 9th paper in my research career.
