Meet The Cast and Crew

Andrew Lloyd Baughman

(He/Him)

Andrew Lloyd Baughman (Mr. Fitch) is the Producing Artistic Director of DC's Landless Theatre Company and an Associate Artist of Maryland Ensemble Theatre. He worked as co-arranger and originated the title role in SWEENEY TODD [Prog Metal Version], nominated for three 2015 Helen Hayes Awards including Outstanding Musical. Local credits include MET: Lippa's Wild Party (Burrs), Little Shop (Orin), Assassins (Booth); SAB Productions: Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Tommy (Captain Walker), Children of Eden (Father); Washington County Playhouse: Kiss Me Kate (Fred/Petrucchio), Shrek (Shrek); Weinberg Center: 1776 (John Adams). Laura J. Martin

(She/Her)

Laura J. Martin (Mrs. Fitch) has been involved in community and professional theatre for most of her life as an actor, director, choreographer, technician, and teacher. Laura graduated from the WV Governor's School for the Arts and studied theatre education at Fairmont State University. Laura holds an RBA from Shepherd University and has her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. Favorite Landless Theatre roles include Abigail Adams in 1776 and Leanne in Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. In addition to owning and operating The Washington County Playhouse with her husband, Laura freelances as an actress, director, and choreographer, as well as an online Health Coach. Laura is the proud fur mamma of Georgia and Wicket. @laurajeanjane


Hannah Thompson

(She/Her)

Hannah Thompson (Stage Manager)  is a graduate of West Virginia University’s School of Theatre and Dance. Her performance credits include Black Comedy (Clea), SPAMALOT (Lady of the Lake), Alice in Wonderland (Queen of Hearts), and Little Women the Broadway Musical (Beth March). Hannah’s directing credits include Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. and Misreadings. Assistant directing credits include You Can’t Take It With You and Kate Hamill’s adaptation of Little Women. Hannah would like to thank Laura and Andrew for inviting her to join her first production since the COVID-19 pandemic began. 


Aubri O'Connor

(She/Her)

Aubri O’Connor (Set)  is cofounder, producer, and artistic director of Nu Sass Productions. Aubri is an alum of Oberlin College where she cut her producing teeth in OMTA. She thanks her father and Mikibear for their herculean support, and her friends and family for putting up with the late nights, long breaks, and loud hellos. Aubri’s select Nu Sass producing credits include: Finding Neil Patrick Harris; Twigs & Bone; Gwen & Ida: The Object is of No Importance; Dead Dog’s Bone; 50 Ways to Date Your Aubrey; Stone Tape Party; No Exit; A Bright Room Called Day; 43 ½: The Greatest Deaths of Shakespeare’s Tragedies; Tent of Dreams: An Occuplay; Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. Aubri hopes you’ll come back to see the other Nu Sass shows occurring in repwith this one: Finding Neil Patrick Harris (in which she plays Katie) running 4/14 to 6/9 Open running 4/28 - 5/27, and Oreo Complex running 5/20 to 6/2.

Ileana Blustein

(any pronouns)

Ileana Blustein (Set) is a freelance theatre artist and educator in the DMV. They graduated from American University in 2020 with a dual degree in Theatre Performance and Physics. Since graduating, she has become a “theatre generalist”, gaining experience in as many different fields of theatre as possible including producing, stage management, wardrobe, and lights, but directing will always be his first love. Recent credits include Open, The Oreo Complex, and Finding Neil Patrick Harris (Nu Sass Productions), Clyde’s and English (Studio Theatre), Fires in the Mirror, Old Stock, and Intimate Apparel (Theater J), The Cassette Shop (Theatre Prometheus), and The Lightning Thief (Wildwood Summer Theatre).

Co-directors Maurice McKnight (He/They) and Winnifred LaMae (She/Her) are highly acclaimed stage directors known for their innovative and boundary-pushing productions. Maurice, born in Chicago, and Winnifred, born in San Francisco, met in 2002 and were married in 2005. They have directed productions at some of the most prestigious theaters in the world and are active members of the Manhattan theater community. Maurice and Winnifred have a reputation for nurturing young talent and challenging audiences with their bold and imaginative visions. Their legacy as trailblazers in the world of theater will endure for generations to come. 

Costume designer Jeanne Edwards-Douglas (She/Her) is an internationally renowned costumer. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and has worked with renowned theater companies around the world, including the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre of Scotland. Her designs are praised for their blend of historical accuracy and contemporary flair, and she has won numerous awards. An interesting fact about her is that she once helped U.S. Representative George Santos assemble his drag queen attire. 

Coco McFarlin (They/Them) studied at the Parsons School of Design and has designed lighting for prestigious theatre productions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the New York City Ballet. Their work has been praised for its ability to create mood and atmosphere, and they are admired for their innovation and creativity. One of their great claims to fame is their groundbreaking lighting design for Geraldo Rivera's Al Capone's Vault television special, which captivated viewers around the world.

The Landless Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to producing exciting and accessible art to cultivate new audiences for live theatre. Our regional premieres have included Sweeney Todd [Prog Metal Version] (nominated for three Helen Hayes Awards), Washington Post Editors’ Picks Gutenberg! The Musical!, President Harding Is A Rock Star, and Carrie Potter at The New Moon Prom. Other notable premieres include Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant, Evil Dead: The Musical, and the 2010 Helen Hayes Recommended production of High Fidelity: A Musical.

Our original works include two selected participants in the NY International Fringe Festival (Gleeam and 2008 Best Musical Pick of the Capital Fringe Diamond Dead). Landless is also the proud curator of the annual Landless Mash-Up Festival, a showcase for playwrights to debut the wackiest material imaginable.
