Greetings to all of you!
Zoology has always fascinated me as a field that unravels the complexities of animal life, their behavior, physiology, and ecological interactions, offering endless opportunities to explore the mysteries of the natural world. My deep interest in this subject stems from its interdisciplinary nature, bridging molecular biology to ecosystem studies, and its immense relevance in addressing contemporary issues such as biodiversity conservation, climate change, and sustainable resource management. The dynamic scope of zoology continuously motivates me to contribute both as a teacher and a researcher, inspiring curiosity and critical thinking among students.
Over the past four years, I have gained substantial teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, where I have focused on delivering conceptual clarity alongside practical applications of zoological knowledge. I have guided 22 postgraduate students through their dissertation work, fostering independent research skills and analytical thinking. In addition, I have successfully undertaken several research consultancies, with projects amounting to a total of Rs. 3 lakhs, reflecting both academic engagement and applied contributions to the field. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to advancing zoological education and research, while mentoring students to excel in academics and scientific inquiry.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Akshay Dilip Bagwe
