Nau mai tahuti mai rā ki te tikanga-ā-iwi! Welcome to senior Pacific Studies. Year 11 students will look into different aspects of Pacific indigenous knowledge and society. The aim is to affirm Pacific knowledge as people of the Moana within Aotearoa-New Zealand. They will learn that:
People's Culture and Collective Identity - Ko ngā ahurea me te tuakiri kiritōpū
People's Sovereignty, Organisation, and the Government - Ko te tino rangatiratanga me te kāwanatanga
People and their place and environment - Ko te tūrangawaewae me te taiao
People and Economic activity - Ko ngā mahinga ohaoha
