The 8th grade band has started work on a piece of music called "Northridge Overture". This is an exciting moment because it is the first piece of music that is not part of the band method book. The students are challenged because of the different parts of music, fast and slow tempos, and length that they need to play. This will be a long term project that you can look forward to hearing on their next concert in February (Feb. 7th). keep Practicing!
