1. Santosh Kumar, a PhD student under Prof. Mukesh Kumar in Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore, has been selected as one of the recipients of the IEEE Photonics Society (IPS) Graduate Student Scholarships 2023. 

2. Santosh Kumar awarded a fellowship for the training of young scientists by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology during the 38th Young Scientist Congress, March 17–19, 2023.

3. Santosh Kumar secured first positions in the Bachelor of Engineering 1st and 2nd semester examinations in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
