Mr. Malluraj is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat, focusing on the Detection and Attribution of Climate Change under the guidance of Dr. Ganesh D. Kale. His primary areas of interest include Climate Change, Hydrology, and the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Water Resources Engineering.
He completed his B.E. in Civil Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore, in 2019. During this time, he worked under the guidance of Dr. M. Keshav Murthy on the project "Design and Analysis of a Multistorey Building" which provided him with valuable practical insights into structural engineering.
In 2021, he completed his M. Tech. in Hydraulics from the National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore. His M. Tech. dissertation, guided by Dr. R. Yadupathi Putty and Dr. Anand M. Hulagabali, was titled "Slope Stability and Landslide Analysis: A Case Study in Kodagu". This project involved extensive fieldwork, laboratory experiments, and analytical modeling, significantly enhancing his technical and research skills.
Since January 2022, he has been actively involved in research at SVNIT Surat, delving into various aspects of climate change and its impacts. His Ph.D. journey has been intellectually enriching, providing diverse opportunities to explore cutting-edge methodologies and approaches.
Beyond academics, he is passionate about writing poems, singing, and engaging in sports such as badminton and chess.
