Reminder to take sketchbooks home over break!
Clear organization and page titles are important.
Maintain a clear order and flow in your sketchbook and include page titles / headings to show this organization to the examiner.
Your sketchbook should take the examiner on a visual and written journey of your idea development.
Background is not marked!
Remember when designing your sketchbook pages that more emphasis should be placed on the content (photos and annotations) than the decoration / background.
A great photo speaks for itself and doesn't need a fancy background.
With the time you have remaining to work on your sketchbook focus on the important content. If time remains add decorations to the pages.
Include lots of photographs!
It is a photography class after all. Include many photographs throughout. Contact sheets, Photoshop edits, A5, A4 and A3 sized photographs. Be sure to annotate the journey of the photographs through the initial contact sheet / raw photo through the editing process to the final photograph.
