I am Karee Brown-Jones from Goldsboro, NC. I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Doctoral candidate at Liberty University. I enjoy watching motivational videos, reading books, playing my trombone, and taking freelance photography. I have six years of teaching experience at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels. I became an educator because I love helping people, and as an educator, I have the opportunity to mold and mentor students to become global leaders and citizens. I can't wait to grow with you all this semester.

The acronym STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. By adopting the STEM philosophy Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics all play an integral part in the teaching of the whole. The science, engineering, and mathematics fields are made complete by the technology component that provides a creative and innovative way to problem solve and apply what has been learned. STE[A]M Education is STEM Education while integrating the Arts, such as music, visual art, drama, and dance. The great thing about "Arts Integration" is that you can integrate the arts not only with STEM subjects but with ALL subjects.
