I want to welcome the 7th grade students to Team Fortitude for the 2025-2026 school year. All work will be posted on Google Classroom this year.    

Facts about Mr. Carter:

-I love teaching science. 

-30th year teaching, 26th year at WM. Diamond Middle School.

-I played soccer, hockey, baseball, golf, and tennis as a kid.  Still golf. 

-I love to fish, especially on Cape Cod 

-I have 3 kids: Katherine(age 21), Maggie(age 19) and PJ(age 12)

-I have driven cross country twice from Massachusetts to California and back visiting many states and national parks. Joshua Tree, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Escalante, Rocky Mt., Arches, and many more. 

-I climbed the highest Mountain in Texas, Mt. Gaudalupe (8,751')

-I hiked 9 miles to the Colorado River and 9 miles back in one day from the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon. 

-I have 8 chickens.
